No longer cool

Friday, February 27th, 2009

Everyone has a facebook nowadays. Everyone also has a twitter. But MySpace, xenga, and other social networking sites are more or less extinct. (MySpace is just for musicians, and every musician has a MySpace). I, however, am going to tell you something that no other person would dare say: Facebook is lame.

Yes, you read it right! That’s right, facebook has, not only become lame, but also lazy, asking US to determine their policies! Checkthisout.

But I suppose I must give you an explanation, no? Here’s my logic:
Twitter=Super known, and therefore no longer cool, creative, and hip. My reason? I saw a dry cleaner’s sign say “we are on twitter!” seriously.
MySpace=Dead. No need to argue my point.
Facebook=Lame: My parents, grandparents, and cousins are all on it. plus, the apps leave a lot to desire. Oh, and Mr. Mark Z (the “founder”) stole the idea from a friend, and only has 700 facebook “friends”.
Other Social Networking=Probably done, I haven’t been asked if I have aBebo, aHi5, or afriendstersince, well, ever.

I guess I’m finished with my ranting now… and don’t worry, even though I think Facebook is lame, I still use it. But not myspace. Or twitter. Or other social networking sites, because I go with the flow.
